Defect Summary

Vehicle description: motor homes. the furnace is exposed to a storage compartment.

Safety Consequence

Items stored in the compartment under the range could come in contact with the furnace, potentially becoming heated and result in a fire.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install sidewall paneling to the exposed furnace opening. this will separate the furnace from the storage compartment under the range.
