Victory/fuel rail assembly
Defect Summary
On certain motorcycles, the fuel rail assembly contains a schrader valve that permits a diagnostic check of fuel pressure at the fuel rail during engine operation. if the schrader valve is not properly tightened, fuel leakage could result.
Safety Consequence
Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect all motorcycles and replace the fuel rails as necessary. owner notification began may 28, 2002. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact victory at 1-763-417-8650.
