Hid headlight conversion kits. These lighting sources do not conform the electrical specifications that are required by federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Safety Consequence
These lights produce excessive glare to oncoming traffic.
Corrective Action
Mcculloch will notify its customers and repurchase the kits. owner notification began december 31, 2003. owners who do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact mcculloch motors at 562-926-9699.
