Defect Summary

Hid headlight conversion kits. These lighting sources do not conform the electrical specifications that are required by federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

Safety Consequence

These lights produce excessive glare to oncoming traffic.

Corrective Action

G.r. Motorsports will recall the noncompliant kits and is offer refunds. owner notification began march 9, 2004. owners who do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact g.r. Motorsports at 323-889-4350.
