Defect Summary

On certain vans supplied to fedex, the rotary latches on the two side sliding doors and sliding partition door can fail.

Safety Consequence

This could cause the rotary latch to not engage when the door is closed resulting in the door remaining in the unlatched open position.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace all rotary latches on the fedex fleet production run. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact ucbc at 1-888-990-8222.
