Defect Summary
On certain boat trailers sold by the marine group, the fiberglas fender can rub a hole in the disc brake hose allowing brake fluid to leak out.
Safety Consequence
The brake system will depressurize, rendering the system inoperable, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will reposition and clamp the brake hose away from the fender. owner notification began january 30, 2004. owners should contact tracker marine at 1-417-873-4555.
