Defect Summary

Certain motor homes had a water line (thermoid value-flex/gs) installed to the aqua-hot heating system unit ("aqua hot") when a fuel line should have been used.

Safety Consequence

The incorrect line may allow seepage of fuel and vapors into the bay area of the motor home, creating the potential for an explosion or fire which could result in personal injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will remove the incorrect water line and replace it with the correct fuel line. owner notification is expected to begin during may or june 2004. owners should contact monaco at 1-800-498-9478.
