Defect Summary

On certain boat trailers, the vehicle's gross vehicle weight rating (gvwr) of 2990 lbs. Is inadequate.

Safety Consequence

This condition will cause unusual wear to the tire and could cause a sudden loss of tire pressure while in operation, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will increase the gvwr of the existing trailers. the recall began september 14, 2004. customers should contact tracker marine at 1-417-873-4528.
