Defect Summary

On certain motorcycles, the air box breather hose may come in contact with the horizontal cylinder exhaust pipe.

Safety Consequence

This will create a potential fire hazard.

Corrective Action

Dealers will shorten the air box breather hose securing it away from the horizontal cylinder exhaust pipe free of charge. the recall began on june 1, 2005. owners may contact ducati at 408-253-0499.
