Defect Summary

Certain travel trailers have unsupported fresh water and holding tanks. the tanks require straps in order to prevent them from separating from the travel trailer.

Safety Consequence

If the tank fell off while the travel trailer is in motion, damage to following vehicles could occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and install support straps underneath the fresh water and holding tanks. the recall began on july 27, 2005. owners may contact fleetwood at 800-509-3418.
