Defect Summary

On certain motor homes, the spindle plugs on some tag axles are missing. the bearings and related surfaces can be contaminated with debris.

Safety Consequence

Debris could migrate into the bearing oil cup, which could increase the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect for data tag and installation of spindle plug. missing data tag will be installed, bearings will be cleaned, inspected, and if necessary, replaced. the recall began on december 12, 2005. owners may contact foretravel at 1-800-955-6226.
