Defect Summary

Certain zf lenksysteme steering gears installed as original equipment for faun and liebherr rubber-wheeled cranes. possibly temporary failure of steering assistance can occur during emergency operation.

Safety Consequence

This could cause increased steering effort which could possibly result in a vehicle crash.

Corrective Action
