U-joint/drive shaft
Defect Summary
Certain motor homes may have u-joint retaining clips missing or not installed properly. if the retaining clips are not installed properly, the u-joint may become dislodged from the yoke and the drive shaft will become disconnected from the drive train.
Safety Consequence
This condition, if not addressed, could result in a crash, injury or death.
Corrective Action
Dealers have completed the repairs to 100 percent of the units at the factory and at dealerships. no further action is necessary on this recall.
