Defect Summary

On certain horse trailers equipped with electric brakes which are built with a break-away control unit. these units are not wired correctly.

Safety Consequence

In the event of a separation of the truck and trailer, the driver may experience a loss of brakes which could result in a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will rewire the break-away control units free of charge. the recall began on march 6, 2006. owners may contact eby at 1-800-292-4752.
