Defect Summary

On certain class b motor homes built on chevrolet chassis, when the rear axle lift kit was installed, the u-bolt nuts were not tightened properly.

Safety Consequence

A loose rear axle can create a sluggish driving feeling, rear bouncing and loud banging noise, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and retighten the u-bolts freee of charge. the recall began on march 30, 2006. owners may contact roadtrek at 888-762-3873.
