Defect Summary

On certain trailers equipped with imt axles, due to improper material used on the axle spindle, the spindle can bend or break.

Safety Consequence

A broken spindle can allow the wheel to separate from the trailer, which could result in a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the axle after testing,if necessary. the manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule. owners may contact bedard tankers at 514-937-1670.
