On certain trailers, fatigue cracks can occur in a heat affected zone of the tongue weldment.
Safety Consequence
This could result in tongue separation from the towed vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and repair the tongues on the affected trailers. the recall is expected to begin on june 19, 2006. owners may contact vermeer at 1-641-628-3141.
