Defect Summary

Certain fifth wheel trailers may have been manufactured with axle springs that were rated for 4400 lbs. Per axle instead of 52oo lbs.

Safety Consequence

The axle springs may fail due to being overloaded if the vehicle is loaded beyond the capacity of the springs.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and replace the axle spring with springs rated at 5200 lbs. Per axle free of charge. the recall began on july 10, 2006. owners may contact keystone at 1-866-425-4369.
