Defect Summary

On certain trucks, the vin label was printed with an improper gross vehicle weight rating (gvwr) and gross axle weight rating (gawr) for both the front and rear axles.

Safety Consequence

The manufacturer has not yet provided a consequence for this campaign.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the vin labels with corrected gvwr and gawr values free of charge. the recall began on july 21, 2006. owners may contact mitsubishi fuso at 856-467-4500.
