Defect Summary

Certain buses fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 120, 'tire selection and rims for motor vehicles other than passenger cars.' an incorrectly labeled weight sticker was attached.

Safety Consequence

This information could potentially result in consumers loading their vehicles beyond the gross vehicle weight rating (gvwr).

Corrective Action

The capacity will be reduced on both vehicles and a new weight rating label will be installed. both vehicles have been taken out of service and parked until repairs have been made.
