Defect Summary
On certain buses built on chevrolet chassis and equipped with link suspension brackets, the axle side lateral control rod bracket has cracked in some cases. this crack could result in a failure of the bracket.
Safety Consequence
If the lateral control rod bracket fractures, the handling of the vehicle will be adversely affected, including possible loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Eldorado is working with link to repair these buses (please see 07e086). link will provide repair kits free of charge. owners may contact link at 1-800-222-6283 or eldorado national at 1-937-596-6849.
