Defect Summary
Tadano is recalling 39 my 2005-2007 atf110g-5, atf160g-5, and my 2006-2007 atf220g-5 all terrain cranes equipped with 5 axles. while in the dolly configuration, the third axle wheel hub may break, allowing it to fall off while driving.
Safety Consequence
If the wheel hub bearing broke while driving, the wheel hub will fall off on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Tadano will change the wheel hub bearing to a larger size with secure strength. the recall began on april 1, 2008. owners may contact tadano at 1-281-869-5925.
