Defect Summary

Fleetwood is recalling 384 my 2008 terra and fiesta motor homes. the battery control center (bcc) miscellaneous wire harness is routed between framing at the driver's wheel well and the front leveling jack.

Safety Consequence

This routing can cause the wires to be pinched resulting in shorted or open circuits which could lead to blown fuses, house component nonoperation and may result in a fire.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, reroute the bcc miscellaneous wire harness free of charge. the recall began on august 27, 2008. owners may contact fleetwood at 1-800-509-3418.
