Defect Summary
Millennium transit services is recalling certain model year 2006 and 2007 transit buses, model r80thn, manufactured between march 2006 and december 2008, equipped with luminator horizon led side destination signs. the connector board can corrode due to an accumulation of moisture under the connector.
Safety Consequence
A short could occur, possibly causing smoke and fire.
Corrective Action
Millennium will notify owners and repair the buses free of charge. the safety recall began onseptember 30, 2009. owners may contact millennium at 1-575-347-7534.
