Defect Summary
Wilson trailer is recalling certain model year 2000 through 2008 livestock trailers manufactured between march 1, 2000 and august 1, 2008. the cross channel between the front and rear suspension hangers can break and, if undetected, over time can cause the frame to flex causing severe cracking of the frame.
Safety Consequence
This could lead to a loss of suspension and increase a risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Wilson trailer will notify owners and repair the trailers free of charge. the safety recall began on march 15, 2010. owners may contact wilson trailer at 1-800-798-2002.
