Defect Summary
Eldorado national - california is recalling certain model year 2006-2011 ez rider ii buses manufactured from april 1, 2006, through november 30, 2010, with a defective steering drag link. the drag links are not of sufficient strength for the duty cycle in which they are operating. the drag links have experienced fatigue failure at their rear adjustment point.
Safety Consequence
A drag link failure could result in steering failure and a loss of control of the vehicle increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Eldorado national - california will inspect and insure that they have the defective drag link and if found it will be replaced with a new one. this service will be performed free of charge. the safety recall began on january 12, 2011. owners may contact eldorado national - california at 937-596-6111.
