Defect Summary

Prevost is recalling one model year 2010 x3-45 and one model year 2010 mth xlii-45e coach. due to improper hardware, the tag axle hub cap screws may loosen, resulting in wheel separation.

Safety Consequence

If this occurs, the driver may lose control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. also, a wayward wheel represents a road hazard to other road users.

Corrective Action

Prevost has replaced the tag axle hub cap screws in the affected vehicles. therefore, owner notifications will not be mailed. owners may contact prevost at 1-418-883-2888.
