Defect Summary

Thermo king corporation (thermo king) is recalling certain precedent s-600 transportation refrigeration units manufactured april 15, 2013, through may 15, 2013. the lifting bracket that is used to install and remove the unit may break.

Safety Consequence

If the lifting bracket breaks during installation or removal of the refrigeration unit, the unit may fall increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Thermo king will notify owners and dealers will re-weld the lifting brackets free of charge. the recall began on july 29, 2013. owners may contact thermo king at 1-866-776-2708.
