Defect Summary

Giti tire company ltd. (giti) is recalling certain runway p235/60 r16 enduro 816 tires manufactured in the second week of 2013 (dot code 0213). due to a tire mold issue, the tires may develop splits in the shoulder.

Safety Consequence

The tires may experience rapid air loss while driving, possibly resulting in tire failure and increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Giti will notify owners and dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. the recall began on june 24, 2013. Owners may contact giti tire at 1-866-488-4737.
