Defect Summary
Hitch-hiker mfg., inc. (hitch hiker) is recalling certain model year 2008-2011 food concession trailers equipped with gkn brand axles. in the affected trailers, the axle may break allowing the arm, spindle, hub, wheel and tire to separate.
Safety Consequence
If the trailer is being towed and the axle breaks it may increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Hitch-hiker will notify owners and replace the axles. the recall began during april 2013. Owners may contact hitch-hiker at 1-330-542-3052.
