Defect Summary

Altec llc (altec) is recalling certain model year 2008-2009 altec llc/lift-all lss aerial devices manufactured december 2008 through october 2009. Cracks may develop in the turntable.

Safety Consequence

Cracks may result in failure of the aerial device, increasing the risk of personal injury to the worker or those nearby.

Corrective Action

Altec will notify owners to inspect the turntable. a stiffener repair kit will be installed on the turntable, free of charge. the recall began during august 2013. owners may contact altec at 1-800-860-0183. altec's recall number is csn 582.
