Defect Summary

Sunright international of america, inc. (sunright) is recalling all sizes of rodia rdh 500 motorcycle helmets, manufactured october 1, 2009, to november 1, 2009. the affected helmets may not adequately protect the user's head in the event of a crash, and thus fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 218, "motorcycle helmets."

Safety Consequence

In the event of a crash, using one of the affected helmets increases the wearer's risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Sunright will notify owners. the helmet will be replaced. the recall began september 15, 2014. owners may contact sunright customer service at 1-770-729-9065.
