Defect Summary
Ez loader adjustable boat trailers, inc. (ez loader) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 adjustable steel and aluminum trailers manufactured may 27, 2014, to september 11, 2014. in the affected trailers, the inner metal bar that acts as the suspension spring may break.
Safety Consequence
If the suspension fails, the trailer may be more difficult to control. additionally, failure of the suspension may result in wheel separation. either condition could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Ez loader will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the trailers, as necessary, free of charge. the recall began on october 27, 2014. owners may contact ez loader customer service at 1-800-398-5623.
