Defect Summary
Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain model year 2014 breeze motorhomes. The affected vehicles may be equipped with a steering knuckle that may fracture.
Safety Consequence
If the steering knuckle fails while the motorhome is being driven, a loss of vehicle control may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Tiffin will notify owners, and dealer representatives will come to where the motorhome is parked, looking for any steering knuckle in the affected production lot. if the the motorhome has one the the subject steering knuckles, the vehicle will be towed to the dealer and the knuckle will be replaced, free of charge. the recall began march 12, 2015. owners may contact tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661.
