Defect Summary

Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain model year 2015-2017 georgetown recreational vehicles, model gta369xlf, manufactured from december 8, 2014, through march 22, 2016. a vented window was installed in the rear wall of the vehicle instead of a secondary egress window.

Safety Consequence

Without a secondary egress window, occupants may be trapped in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury or death.

Corrective Action

Forest river will notify owners, and dealers will remove the vented window and install an egress window, free of charge. the recall began on may 10, 2016. owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-206-7600. forest river's number for this recall is 15-03232016-0151.
