Defect Summary

Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 glaval concorde and concorde ii transit buses manufactured december 30, 2015, to may 13, 2016 and built on ford chassis. The clip that connects the hand operated parking brake actuator cable to the intermediate parking brake cable may fail.

Safety Consequence

If the parking brake cable connector clip fails, the vehicle may unexpectedly roll, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Forest river will notify owners, and ford dealers will replace the parking brake cable connector clip, free of charge. the recall began on july 1, 2016. owners may contact ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. forest river's number for this recall is 35-05242016-0200.
