Defect Summary

Zhaoqing junhong co., ltd. (zhaoqing) is recalling certain antares comfort a5 tires, size lt 225/75r16 118/116s 10 pr. these tires may experience sidewall separation while driving. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 139, "new pneumatic radial tires for light vehicles."

Safety Consequence

A tire sidewall separation increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Zhaoqing will notify owners and dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. the recall began on december 5, 2017. owners may contact zhaoqing customer service at 1-855-444-5120 or by email at service@antaresrecall.com.
