Defect Summary
Proline products llc (proline) is recalling certain 2016-2017 cargo trailers equipped with 3500lb-capacity galvanized dexter torflex axles. due to the acorn wheel nuts that secure the wheels to the hub being too short, the wheels may detach during use.
Safety Consequence
If the trailer wheels loosen or detach, it can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Proline will notify owners, and dealers will replace the acorn wheel nuts, free of charge. the recall began on april 21, 2017. owners may contact proline customer service at 1-800-994-0960.
