Defect Summary

Grand design rv, llc (grand design) is recalling certain 2017-2018 imagine travel trailers. the screws that secure the slide room mechanism columns may shear, allowing the slide room to extend while the trailer is being towed.

Safety Consequence

If the slide room opens during transit there would be an increased risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Grand design will notify owners, and dealers will replace the slide mechanism column securing screws, free of charge. the recall began on may 15, 2017. owners may contact grand design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. grand design's number for this recall is 910009.
