Defect Summary

Mercedes-benz usa, llc (mbusa) is recalling certain 2018 gla250 4matic vehicles. the low beam headlight settings on these vehicles may deviate from the required specification, reducing the range of light. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

Safety Consequence

Reduced headlight range can affect visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
