Defect Summary
Autocar, llc (autocar) is recalling certain 2017-2018 xpeditor vehicles. these vehicles are equipped with an hvac defrost door actuator system mechanism that may overheat due to inadequate circuit protection.
Safety Consequence
Overheating of the defrost actuator increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Autocar will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional harness with a one amp fuse to the circuit, free of charge. the recall began on january 12, 2018. owners may contact autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. autocar's number for this recall is acx-1704.
