Erwin hymer group north america, inc. (erwin hymer) is recalling certain 2012-2018 roadtrek e-trek, cs adventurous, rs adventurous, ss agile, zion, zion srt, simplicity, simplicity srt, hymer aktiv, aktiv 2.0, sonne, carado banff, axion, and sunlight van one vehicles. these motorhomes are equipped with kidde e10 or eh10 fire extinguishers that may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher.
Safety Consequence
If the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a fire.
Corrective Action
Erwin hymer will notify owners, instructing them to contact kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. the recall began on january 8, 2018.
