Defect Summary

Altec industries, inc. (altec) is recalling certain 2017 altec at37, at41 and at48 aerial devices. some of the fasteners that secure the pedestal to the chassis may be missing or may be loose which can cause a loss of stability or separation of the pedestal.

Safety Consequence

A pedestal that is not secure can increase the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Altec will notify owners and will repair the vehicles, free of charge. the recall began january 31, 2019. Owners may contact altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. altec's number for this recall is csn 706.
