Defect Summary
Capco usa inc. (capco) is recalling certain ctr outer tie rods sold for aftermarket installation. the taper on the ball studs may affect the durability of the outer tie rods.
Safety Consequence
If the tie rods fail due to not being durable, control of the vehicle may be affected, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Capco will notify the affected distributors, and will provide replacement outer tie rods to the retail customers, free of charge. the recall began on october 3, 2019. owners may contact capco customer service at 1-248-994-0815.
