Mack trucks, inc. (mack) is recalling certain 2018 anthem (an) and pinnacle (cxu) vehicles, equipped with an automated manual transmission. an internal component in the clutch assembly may fail, possibly resulting in unintended vehicle movement.
Safety Consequence
Unintended vehicle movement can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Mack has notified owners, and dealers will update the software or replace the clutch, as necessary, free of charge. the recall began on january 25, 2019. owners may contact mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. mack's number for this recall is sc0415.
