Defect Summary

Highland ridge rv (highland) is recalling certain 2019 mesa ridge lite 2804rk and open range ultra lite 2804rk travel trailers. the gross vehicle weight rating (gvwr), shown on the label as 7,675lbs, exceeds the safety chain rating of 7,600lbs.

Safety Consequence

The incorrect gvwr on the label may allow the vehicle to be overloaded causing loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
