Defect Summary

Mack trucks, inc. (mack) is recalling certain 2019-2020 terrapro (te) vehicles. the headlamps may not be properly aimed, possibly reducing the driver's visibility. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

Safety Consequence

Reduced visibility can increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Mack will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and readjust the headlamps, free of charge. the recall began january 24, 2020. owners may contact mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. mack's number for this recall is sc0421.
