Defect Summary

Denso international america inc. (denso) is recalling certain fuel pumps. an impeller within the low pressure fuel pump may crack and deform, potentially causing the fuel pump to fail.

Safety Consequence

If the fuel pump fails, the engine can stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
