Defect Summary

Arcimoto inc. (arcimoto) is recalling certain 2019 fuv motorcycles. during full right steering lock, the brake line may contact the steering main-link.

Safety Consequence

The contact may wear through the hard brake line, causing a loss of braking ability and increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Arcimoto will notify owners and will inspect for proper clearance between the hard brake line and the steering main-link, correcting as necessary, free of charge. the recall began january 24, 2020. owners may contact arcimoto customer service at 1-541-683-6293.
