Defect Summary
Arcimoto inc. (arcimoto) is recalling certain 2019-2021 fuv, 2020-2021 deliverator and roadster, and 2021 rapid responder motorcycles. the inverters firmware may allow the vehicles battery to shutdown without warning.
Safety Consequence
Opening the main contactor may cause a battery shutdown and loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Arcimoto will notify owners, and will update the firmware, free of charge. the recall began april 27, 2021. owners may contact arcimoto customer service at 1-541-683-6293.
